Locum Consultant Psychiatrist – General Adult

• Rate: $1500 per day
• Location: Timaru, New Zealand

I am seeking Consultant Psychiatrists for short- or long-term locum work within the General Adult Mental Health community services in Timaru.

Location:

Timaru, situated between Dunedin and Christchurch. This town is the place to be for boutique hotels, artisan food producers and scenic natural beauty. Timaru is home to the world’s smallest penguin from October to March when they come and nest in Caroline Bay, as well as the Raptor bird tour where you can meet the bird of prey. Timaru is a great place to visit for celebrating local food and produce or heading on a high-country adventure.

Essential:

• Vocational registration with Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ) or eligibility to apply
• FRANZCP or equivalent and be able to register for specialist registration with the MCNZ
